2025 Resident Membership & Owner’s Association Fees

Membership Benefits:

• Outdoor Swimming Pool
• Community Center with Fitness Facility, Indoor Pool, Dance/Yoga Studio, Art Room, Card Room, Meeting Room, and Locker Rooms with Showers
• Clubhouse with Multiple Dining Options, Special Events

Initiation Fees:
Improved Property: $50,000 upon closing
Unimproved Property (home site): $23,000 at closing & $27,000 upon completion or purchase of a home.

Dataw Island Club Dues:
Improved Property: $482/month ($5784/year)

OR Lot Owners: $1550 two times a year ($3100/year). (If you rent, reside, or own additional improved property in Beaufort County, Improved Property dues & fees apply.)
Optional: Multi-generational members may be added for $85/month each. 

Dataw Island Owner’s Association Dues:

$1184.25/quarter ($3637/year plus $1100/year two-year special assessment (2024 and 2025))

Level Service Fee for Dining:
$31/month ($372/year). There is no food & beverage minimum.

Please Note: Membership and Sport Amenity Options include a member, spouse (or significant other living together on a full time basis), any dependent single children of a member under the age of 21, and any disabled child of a member regardless of age. Immediate family members 21 and older residing in your home on a full-time basis may opt into a multi-generational membership and sports packages.

Resident Member Sports Amenity Options

At Dataw, membership options are flexible, to suit your lifestyle. Each year, members opt into your ideal membership package, including an array of sporting options. Amenity selection reflects a calendar year commitment.

There are no refunds (including medical exemptions), and no carry over of unused rounds or court times into the following year. Monthly packages may not be combined with Rounds Packages. *With a Tennis Court Time or Golf Rounds Package, each round/court time utilized by each person on the membership applies toward the package.

Family Guest vs. Non-Family Guest

“Family Guest” is defined as parents/ stepparents, children/stepchildren and their spouses; grandchildren/step grandchildren and their spouses; and siblings and their spouses, who do not reside with the member.

“Non-Family Guests” are those who do not fall into the “Family Guest” category (friends, cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.).was chosen. There are no refunds (including medical exemptions), and no carry over of unused rounds or court times into the following year.)

• Access to: Member Clubs and Organizations, Community Garden, Community Docks, and additional Community Center services such as Spa Treatments, Trainers, Fitness Classes, Yoga, and more.

One Time Initiation Fee: $50,000

Monthly Dues: $326

Multi-generational members may be added for $85 per month each.

Country Club Dining-Only Membership: $425/year (No initiation fee required; limited memberships available.)

Provides full access to the Club’s Fine & Casual Dining facilities, including attendance at Special Dining Events and Bridge Functions.

*For fee purposes, a Family Membership includes a member, spouse and any dependent single children of a member under the age of 21, and any disabled child of a member regardless of age. It also includes an unmarried couple, one of whom is a member, residing together on a full-time basis. A Single Membership includes a single person, or surviving spouse until remarriage, and a divorced member or spouse until remarriage.

At Dataw Island Club, Country Club Membership options are flexible, to suit your lifestyle. Each year, members opt in to their ideal membership package, including an array of sporting options. Sports Amenity Packages are available for Croquet, Golf, Tennis, and Pickleball – Package prices are in addition to the base monthly Country Club dues.

2025 Renter Membership at Dataw Island Club

We are pleased to offer long-term renter memberships for those who rent on Dataw Island for 30 days or more. Please note that this membership is on a month-to-month basis and allows for amenity usage based on amenity selections chosen.
