Position: Dining Room Server

Dataw Island Club is seeking friendly, energetic, and service-oriented individuals to join our Food & Beverage team in the position of Server. If you enjoy providing exceptional hospitality in a beautiful club environment, we’d love to meet you!

Position Summary
As a Server, you will deliver outstanding dining experiences by providing attentive, professional, and courteous service to our members and guests. This position offers flexible scheduling with opportunities to work in our dining venues, special events, and banquets.

Responsibilities

  • Greet members and guests with a warm, welcoming
  • Take food and beverage orders accurately and
  • Serve food and beverages in a timely, professional
  • Ensure guest satisfaction by anticipating needs and responding promptly to
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas before, during, and after
  • Assist with banquet and special event setup and service as

Qualifications

Position: Bartender

Position Summary
Dataw Island Club is looking for friendly, energetic, and experienced Bartenders who enjoy creating exceptional experiences for our members and guests. If you have a passion for hospitality, enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, and take pride in delivering outstanding service, we’d love to meet you!

What You’ll Do

  • Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages for members and guests
  • Mix and garnish cocktails according to recipes and guest preferences
  • Provide friendly, attentive service while taking drink and snack orders
  • Recommend beverages and menu items based on guest preferences
  • Verify guest identification and ensure compliance with alcohol service laws
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar
  • Restock inventory and bar supplies as needed
  • Follow all food safety, sanitation, and beverage regulations
  • Help create a welcoming and memorable guest experience

Schedule

  • Tuesday through Sunday availability
  • Available from at least 4 pm on, evenings, weekends, and holiday shifts required

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 21 years of age
  • Previous bartending experience preferred (2+ years ideal)
  • Knowledge of cocktail preparation, beer, wine, and responsible alcohol service
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills

Position: Banquet Server

Dataw Island Club is seeking friendly, dependable, and service-oriented individuals to join our Banquet Team. If you enjoy working in a fast-paced environment, providing exceptional guest service, and being part of memorable events, we’d love to meet you!

Position Summary
Banquet Servers are responsible for setting up banquet rooms, providing attentive food and beverage service, and ensuring every event is executed with exceptional hospitality. This position plays an important role in creating an outstanding experience for our Members and Guests.

Responsibilities
• Set up banquet rooms according to event specifications.
• Welcome and provide prompt, attentive service to Members and Guests.
• Take beverage orders and serve food in assigned stations.
• Pour and refill water, coffee, wine, and other beverages throughout the event.
• Clear tables and remove used dishes, glassware, and silverware as needed.
• Maintain clean and organized banquet and kitchen work areas.
• Communicate any Member or Guest concerns promptly to a supervisor.
• Assist with event breakdown, including removing linens, bussing tables, and resetting banquet spaces.
• Work as part of a team to ensure successful execution of all banquet functions.

Qualifications
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Previous banquet or full-service restaurant experience is preferred.
• Weekend availability is required.
• Must be available to work evening shifts beginning at 4:00 PM (earlier availability is appreciated).
• Friendly, professional demeanor with excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods and lift up to 30 pounds.

• Refill beverages, clear tables, and assist with table maintenance.
• Ensure dining rooms and event spaces are clean, organized, and presentable.
• Communicate effectively with kitchen and service staff to provide outstanding dining experience.

• Perform other duties as assigned to support Food & Beverage operations.

Position: Golf Outside Services Attendant

Dataw Island Club is seeking friendly, energetic, and customer-focused individuals to join our Golf Outside Services team. If you enjoy working outdoors, providing exceptional service, and being part of a premier golf club, we’d love to hear from you!

Position Summary
The Golf Outside Services Attendant plays a key role in creating an outstanding experience for our Members and Guests. This position is responsible for preparing golf facilities, assisting golfers before and after their rounds, and ensuring the highest level of service throughout the golf operation.

Responsibilities
• Prepare, clean, stock, and stage golf carts for daily play.
• Set up and maintain the practice facilities each day.
• Pick the driving range and replenish golf balls throughout the day.
• Greet Members and Guests and assist with loading and unloading golf bags.
• Check in golfers using a tablet and assist with tee time arrivals.
• Maintain the cleanliness and organization of the cart staging area and practice facilities.
• Provide prompt, friendly, and professional service to Members and Guests.
• Assist with any outside golf service needs and support the Golf Shop staff as needed.
• Develop a strong understanding of the overall golf operation at Dataw Island Club.

Qualifications
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Positive attitude with a team-oriented mindset.
• Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 40 pounds.

Position: Golf Course Starters & Rangers

Dataw Island Club is seeking friendly, dependable, and service-oriented individuals to join our Golf Operations team as Golf Starters and Rangers. If you enjoy working outdoors, interacting with people, and have a passion for golf, we’d love to hear from you!

Job Summary
As a Golf Starter or Ranger, you will help ensure an exceptional golf experience for our members and guests by providing outstanding customer service, maintaining an efficient pace of play, and representing the Club in a professional manner.

Golf Starter Responsibilities
• Welcome members and guests and check in golfers for their tee times.
• Verify tee times and assist with daily golf operations.
• Organize player groups to maximize course flow.
• Provide information on course conditions, local rules, pin locations, and daily announcements.
• Distribute scorecards, pencils, and other golf materials.
• Ensure groups tee off on schedule to maintain an enjoyable pace of play.
• Coordinate with the Golf Shop and Outside Services staff to support daily operations and tournaments.
• Maintain a professional appearance of the first tee and surrounding areas.

Golf Ranger Responsibilities
• Patrol the golf course to promote an enjoyable pace of play.
• Assist golfers with on-course questions or concerns.
• Enforce Club policies regarding golf etiquette, cart rules, dress code, and pace of play.
• Encourage proper course care, including repairing ball marks, replacing divots, and raking bunkers.
• Communicate course conditions or member concerns to the Golf Professional staff.
• Help create a welcoming, enjoyable experience for all members and guests.

Qualifications

• Friendly, professional, and courteous demeanor.
• Ability to remain calm and tactful while enforcing Club policies.
• Strong organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Knowledge of the golf game is preferred but not required.
