Pledge The Pink

2025 Pledge The Pink

Pledge The Pink

On Friday, October 18, we had the honor of hosting Pledge The Pink here on Dataw Island, welcoming more than 1,500 walkers and runners for the first day of this incredible breast cancer event. From the moment the first guests arrived, the island came alive – full of energy, color, and that unmistakable spirit that Dataw is known for! We went all out, and it showed in every sign, every cheer, and every smiling face along the way.

We lined the route with creative cheering stations, offered snacks and sips, and did everything we could to make sure participants felt supported and celebrated. Volunteers guided walkers and runners, greeted them at the start and finish lines, and kept the course running smoothly. Whether standing in groups as a neighborhood or club-within-the-club or waving from driveways and golf carts, everyone played a part in creating something truly memorable. It was a full community effort, and we gave it everything we had.

What stood out most wasn’t just the beautiful scenery or the well-organized course – it was the sense of unity and shared commitment throughout the day. Walkers and hosts alike felt supported and welcomed. Friday was more than a walk; it was a powerful coming together for a common cause. We’re proud of how Dataw supported Pledge The Pink and grateful for the impact it made.
