Halloween On Dataw

Halloween on Dataw was a day packed with excitement, creativity, and community fun! The celebrations kicked off with DIWGA’s Halloween Golf Event, where players arrived in an impressive array of costumes and took to the Morgan River Course for a round full of energy and friendly competition. Spooky-themed obstacles and decorations added a playful twist to the game, but that didn’t stop the ladies from showing off their best swings and sportsmanship. Later in the day, the fun continued at the CCDI Croquet Halloween Event, where members kept the festive energy going, dressed in their costumes.

As evening fell, the celebrations moved indoors to the Carolina Ballroom for the grand “Spooky Skelebration.” The room buzzed with excitement as members gathered for a night of music, dancing, and festive cheer. The Chocolate Chip Band set the tone with lively performances, while members enjoyed delicious food and drinks and plenty of socializing. The highlight of the night was the costume contest, where members competed for the coveted “Scariest Costume” title amid plenty of fun and laughter. It was a memorable finale to a day that truly showcased the spirit, creativity, and camaraderie of the Dataw Island community!
