Bocce Island Championship

The Bocce Island Championship brought together Dataw’s top players for a day of close matches and great competition.

The Spring Men’s Champions, Mission Imbocceble, included Clint Condon, Mike Dillon, Roddy Diatolevi, Charlie Gelormino, Steve Crabb, Kent Mallon, Mark Klosek, Stacey Milford, Bill O’Leary, Bill Reid, and John Weaber.

The Spring Women’s Champions, The Hot Shots, featured Carol Babione, Carolyn Burson, Sue Davis, Kathleen Connors, Colleen Donahue, Jane Lemmon, Nancy Merrill, Judy Mack, Micki Sala, Tracey Ryan, and Aline Rochefort.

On Court 3, Mission Imbocceble won a closely-contested game, while The Hot Shots came from behind on Court 1 to even the score. A tie-breaker on Court 3 followed, with both teams trading points until Mission Imbocceble secured the victory and the championship trophy. Congratulations to both teams for an excellent display of skill and sportsmanship.
