Adaptive Golf Hosted by Dataw Island
Dataw Island was pleased to welcome AGE (Adaptive Golf Experience) of Parris Island for a clinic, lunch, and time on the course. AGE exists to help those with disabilities discover their abilities through the therapeutic activities of Adaptive Golf.
AGE Board Member Phil Marshall says:
“Many may only know that we support our local Adaptive Golf Clinics both here in Beaufort and in Savannah. The (second) link below provides a small snippet of what it actually means to those involved. Our partners out of Atlanta put this together and we (AGE Parris Island) intend on doing our own for South Carolina. Our Tee It Up For The Troops weeklong Veterans Week has been a strong proponent of giving to this worthy cause.
I would like to shout out that three of our Dataw ladies who haven’t touched a club in years thoroughly enjoyed the day even in the heat. Their smiles meant everything to us at AGE.
