Experience all that Dataw Island offers with our 3-day, 2-night discovery tour package, “Experience Dataw.” Guests arrange the accommodation of your choosing (options include onsite villas, local B&Bs, hotels, and for boaters – the Dataw Island Marina) and you will be our guest for golf, tennis, dinner, and other activities.
You’ll be greeted by one of our island real estate experts for a tour of the amenities and to get a sense of the home styles, and then enjoy dinner with volunteer Member Ambassadors. During your stay, we also welcome you to tour the island at your pace with complimentary use of a rental golf cart, relax at the outdoor pool, work out at the fitness room and indoor pool, and enjoy tee times on our two courses, take to the tennis and pickleball courts, and relax on our croquet lawns and bocce courts. Other areas of interest include the History & Learning Center at the ruins, several community docks and gardens, and a dog park, nature & walking trails at our 33-acre maritime nature preserve, Oak Island.

Living On Dataw Island
Dataw Island membership includes both a homeowners association (the Dataw Island Homeowners Association) and the Dataw Island Club, providing residents with a 24-hour manned security gate featuring concierge style service, myriad activities, dining & entertainment options. Sports are available “a la carte” on an annual basis, with memberships plans available customized to suit your lifestyle, and evolve as your needs and interests may fluctuate from year to year.
