Garden Club

Welcome – Whether you are a novice seeking knowledge or an experienced gardener, Dataw Garden Club is a friendly, enthusiastic, welcoming group where you can learn.  Club members and guest speakers provide a variety of garden related activities and experiences, as well as many interesting educational programs. Gaining information about gardening techniques, putting forth effort toward conservation and protection of our natural environment, sharing a pursuit in creating floral design and becoming familiar with Low Country horticulture are some of the opportunities to help us grow.   A wide variety of committees and projects flourish throughout the year to beautify and maintain the island community and its surrounds.

Membership - Membership is open to all members of the Dataw Island Club. Guests are welcome to attend a meeting/program prior to joining. The cost of membership is $35.

Meetings  - Meetings are open to all Garden Club Members as well as Dataw Island Club members and their guests.  Meetings are held in the Carolina Room, generally, on the 2nd Tuesday morning of each month from September through May. A special program is presented at the meeting, with interesting local and noted speakers regarding horticulture, gardening, framing, floral design, our unique environment, and other topics of interest to our members and the Dataw Island Community.
