      Availability and Schedule:

      ·         Must be available Monday – Friday as early as 6:00 am.

      ·         Must be available to work weekends and holidays as needed.

      ·         Must be available to work overtime as needed.

       

      Job Overview:

      Primary job function is the care and maintenance of the golf course.  Under the direction and supervision of the superintendent and assistant superintendent the employee will operate all golf course equipment including small tools, mowers, riding units, loaders, utility carts and other maintenance vehicles

       

      Responsibilities include:

      ·         Mowing greens, tees, fairways and rough using riding mowers and walk mowers.

      ·         Operating tractors, blowers, turf vacuums, aerifiers, rollers, and other turf specific machinery.

      ·         Operating smaller hand held equipment such as weed eaters, back pack blowers, hover mowers, hand rakes, shovels, pruning shears, chainsaws, and course cup changing tools.

      ·         Ensuring all equipment is working properly and operationally safe.  Cleans equipment daily.

       

      Qualifications:

      ·         Knowledge of safe, efficient operation of motorized vehicles, mowers and tractors.

      ·         Mechanical aptitude.

      ·         Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

      ·         Able to stand/walk for prolonged periods of time and lift up to 50 pounds.

      Job Availability and Schedule:

      Job Overview:

      Primary purpose of this position is to directly interact with our membership to ensure they have a perfect club dining experience. Servers and Bartenders are responsible for Member and Guest satisfaction thru prompt, accurate and friendly interaction.  Servers and Bartenders are responsible for knowing Member’s names and becoming familiar with their specific needs.

       

      Responsibilities:

      ·         Knowledge of Menu and dining features.

      ·         Knowledge of Liquor, Wine, Beer and Beverage Products.

      ·         Accuracy in taking Food and Beverage orders and accurate input into the POS system.

      ·         Constant maintenance of tables including clearing of plates and refilling beverages.

      ·         Verifying receipts and presenting completed receipts to the Member for signature.

      ·         Assisting with special event set up, service and take down as needed.

      ·         Greeting all Members and Guests warmly with an appropriate greeting and smile.

       

      Qualifications:

      ·         Previous serving or bartender experience preferred.

      ·         Excellent oral communications skills.

      ·         Positive interpersonal skills.

      ·         Able to reach hands and arms in any direction and kneel and stoop repeatedly. 

      ·         Continual use of manual dexterity and gross motor skills.

      ·         Frequently lifts/carries 25 pounds.

      Job Overview:

      Primary purpose of this position is to wash and store all cooking utensils, china, flatware and glassware.

       

      Responsibilities:

      ·         Wash all wares in dishwasher or by hand.

      ·         Collect trash from kitchen area; empties garbage barrels; wash and reline with new bags.

      ·         Examine garbage for silverware, dishes and glassware.

      ·         Wash and clean receiving area and trash areas.

      ·         Sweep and mop kitchen floors.

      ·         Store all dishes and wares in proper areas.

      ·         Clean dishwasher after each meal period.

      • Maintains highest level of sanitary standards and adheres to local and state health and safety regulations.

      • Covers, dates and stores all leftover products that are re-usable

  • Pastry Chef
    • Club Pastry Chef


      Job Summary:

      The Club Pastry Chef is responsible for the baking and pastry operation, and production of relevant items within the Clubhouse dining venues during various meal periods. The Chef will plan, prepare, and execute pastries, desserts, ice creams, confection and garnishes, as well as bread and other relevant items as the Club’s menus describe, with direction from the Executive Chef. The Chef will be responsible for the sanitation and order of their workspace and storage area, and maintain Club and DHEC standards of safety at all times. He/ she will propose and feature new menu items in support of the existing culinary and menu styles described by the Executive Chef. Some purchasing, product cost reporting, and will be required. An assurance that quality and cost standards are consistently maintained is required. Some supervision of the line staff members is required. An on- going commitment to professional growth and learning through continuing education and personal development is recommended.


      Job Duties:

      1. Plans and organizes pastry, breads, dessert and related items for Club ala carte dining functions

      2. Plans and organizes pastry, breads, desserts, and related items for Club member and tournament functions

      3. Plans and organizes pastry, breads, desserts, and related items for Club banquet functions

      4. Plans and organizes pastry, breads, desserts, and related items for other Club events as directed by Executive Chef

      5. Assists Executive Chef with department supervision and training

      6. Adheres to state DHEC Standards, as it relates to daily work and food handling preparations

      7. Ensures high standards of quality are met consistently and on time

      8. Responsible understanding of product costs, product usage, storage and controls

      9. Responsible for consistency of food production.

      10. Assist in maintaining cleanliness and security of kitchen food and equipment

      11. Proposes menus and other administrative duties as assigned by the Executive Chef

      12. Communicates effectively regarding department status, food and supply needs, equipment condition and needs

      13. Maintain and organize production lists of daily functions

      14. Inspects presentation of food and pastry department items to ensure quality standards are consistently reached

      15. Proper ordering of and receiving (Quantity and Quality) techniques are used.

      16. Coding inventory and checking proper coding to budget areas.

      17. Consistently develops new and creative ideas, process refinement points,

      18. Complies with posted work and production schedules

      19. Oversees opening of the kitchen as scheduled

      20. Club Pastry Chef is a team leader and model culinary professional

      21. Maintains a positive presence with team, other working departments, management, and membership


      Required Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

      Minimum of Associates Degree in the related field or Approved ACF Apprenticeship completion


      Required Education/Experience:

      5 years Baking and Pastry experience required

      Relevant hotel/ restaurant bakery or freestanding bakery experience required


      Physical Requirements:

      Effective and clear communication; technical and computer skills including word, excel, outlook

      Be in approved and clean uniform attire and ready to work at scheduled time

      Be in observance of good personal hygiene; conservative hair, shaving, no jewelry, clean fingernails

      Frequent bending, stooping, pulling, lifting. 50 pounds required

      Continuous standing, walking, repetitive hand motions required

      The kitchen is a heat sensitive environment
