Being a native of Greenville, SC, I have learned to love and appreciate the beauty of the Lowcountry and Beaufort, in particular. I attended the University of Georgia on a baseball scholarship and after my sophomore year was afforded the opportunity to play professional baseball with the Los Angeles Dodgers. I continued my education in the off-season and obtained my BBA degree in Management and Finance. After an injury necessitated my retirement from baseball, I embarked on a thirty-eight year career in banking.

In 1999, my wife Pat and I moved to Beaufort to join with a group of local business leaders to form and charter a locally owned community bank. I was privileged to serve as President and CEO of the bank until I retired in 2008.

My vast experience in all phases of banking including residential construction lending, mortgage lending, commercial real estate lending, land acquisition lending and financial administration makes me uniquely qualified to assist my clients with their buying or selling needs.

I was taught many years ago that in a business where personal relationships are paramount, the best way to succeed is through client service. My pledge to you, as my client, is the service you will receive from me will far exceed your expectations.
