Welcome to Beaufort! A phrase I heard often upon moving to this beautiful island 10 years ago. If you are new to the area, I can’t wait to help you become a part of this wonderful community. Before entering real estate, I earned a Master's degree and became a Nationally Board Certified Exceptional Needs Specialist in South Carolina public schools with concentration in teaching students with learning disabilities. Teaching brought me joy but my entrepreneurial spirit took over after having my own family.

My husband and I own and operate City Java & News and City Loft Hotel – two endeavors that have brought me much pride and satisfaction. I have the benefit of meeting so many interesting guests and patrons as they travel to and from Beaufort.

The Navy brought my family to South Carolina in 1978 and again in 1988. I am thrilled my parents, sister and her three children are all close by in Charleston, SC. My husband and I have two children and stay busy with many community activities. The waterways and barrier islands provide us with a respite from our busy lives.

We truly enjoy our family time on the water.
