I have been involved in home remodeling since I was old enough to hold a paint brush in my hand. I have been selling real estate for over a decade. I love the low country and am passionate about historic preservation.

My grandfather Major General Berkeley was commanding general of Parris Island back in the 30’s. My dad was a dive bomber pilot in WWII. I grew up in Northern Virginia and Taiwan, lived in Dayton, OH and raised my two daughters in Charlotte NC. I am happy to now call Beaufort, SC my real home. I am proud of my Marine family and like to think I got my "warrior blood" from the Berkeley side of the family. My Mom’s grandfather was an architect and her mother was an artist. I think that’s where I got my creative gene and love of the arts.
My enthusiasm for home remodeling has inspired me to help my family, friends and clients with many projects over the years. I have restored several homes that have won historic preservation awards.

I graduated from The University of Georgia with a degree in Home Economics and Journalism and thought I would end up working for a magazine like Southern Living. Instead, I have spent the past 28 years working as an entrepreneur. I have started several companies including a computer store, an internet company, a bicycle shop and a restaurant. These diverse business experiences helped me when I decided pursue a full time career in real estate in 2005.

I love being a real estate broker and am delighted that my path has led me to join the nice people at Lowcountry Real Estate. In my free time I enjoy yoga, running, photography and painting. Beaufort is a wonderful place to work and live and I would love to help you make this great city your home.
