Final Results - Mixed Team Championship
The SCGA-WSCGA Mixed Team Championship, otherwise known as the "Divorce Open," tested the skills of all parties involved this weekend on Dataw Island.


21st Annual SCGA-WSCGA Mixed Team Championship Final Results


Beaufort, SC --- --- The South Carolina Golf Association and the Women’s South Carolina Golf Association to the 21st Annual SCGA-WSCGA Mixed Team Championship, otherwise known as the "Divorce Open," tested the skills of all parties involved this weekend on Dataw Island.

The teams of Abby Driscoll (Moore) and Ridge Conner (Moore) along with Lea Ann Brown (Mt. Pleasant) and Mark Hoover (Mt. Pleasant) lifted the trophies in their respective divisions to become 2019 Champions at the 21st Annual SCGA – WSCGA Mixed Team Championship here at Dataw Island Club’s Morgan River & Cotton Dike courses.

In the Championship Division, Driscoll and Conner shot a final round total of 5 under par 67 to win by four shots over the 2018 Mixed Champion team of Emily Rapp (Greenville) and Jeremy Moore (Mt. Pleasant). Playing the final round as a best ball format due to the first round being cancelled as Tropical Storm Nestor passed through South Carolina, Driscoll and Conner sailed through the final round with a front nine total of 32 and completed their back nine with a 35.

In the Senior Division, Lea Anne Brown and Mark Hoover claimed top honors with a final round score of 3 under par 69. Finishing one shot off the lead was Donna Cortina (Bluffton) and David Politi (Hilton Head) after a final round 70.
