Carolinas Golf Association 51st Senior Four-Ball Championship

DATAW ISLAND, S.C. – Between Green Jackets and Plaid…The Lowcountry welcomed players from throughout the Carolinas for the 51st Carolinas Senior Four-Ball Championship on Tom Fazio’s Cotton Dike course.

Day three brought some intense competition! After a tough battle to the end, Patrick Brady and Steve Harwell brought home the cup, with second place ending in a three-way tie between the teams of Steve Channell and Preston Edmonson, Stan Sill and Mike Gravley, and Walter Todd and Todd Hendley. Congrats to all the competitors!

Four Dataw Island members competed, as well as a number of players from Hilton Head, Okatie, and throughout both North and South Carolina. Representing Dataw Island are Steve Dietz, Jim Dufresne, Doug McGowan, and Jim Wertz. Other in-county competitors are: from Hilton Head, Kevin Arnold, Marcus Byler, Mark Carey, Robert Fulton, Steve Murphy, and David Politi; from Okatie, JR Evans, Chris Morris, Michael Teem, and Joseph Roller.
