Dataw Island is pleased to announce that they will be named in several categories as “The Best of the Best” in ideal-LIVING’s Summer 2016 edition coming out this month.

ideal-LIVING, a leading national publication for readers who are nearing retirement age or who are interested in the benefits of relocating their families or businesses, received hundreds of nominations for their ‘Best of the Best’ issue earlier this year. A special editorial committee assembled by the publication reviewed the qualifications of each nominee and selected the winners in more than 40 categories. Among the categories honoring residential communities are “Best Island Communities,” “Best Lake Communities,” “Best Mountain Views,” “Best Environmentally Friendly Designs” and “Best Designs for Residents Age 50+.” The top communities recognized for their featured amenities are named in categories that include “Best Tennis Centers,” “Best Equestrian Facilities,” “Best Collection of Golf Courses,” “Best Nature Trails” and “Best Spa Facilities.” In addition, residential communities with the “Best Social Calendars,” “Best Community Gardens,” “Best Culinary Events,” and “Best Sporting Clubs” are cited.
