Fashion For Compassion to benefit FRIENDS of Caroline Hospice

Dataw Island happily welcomed Fashion For Compassion to benefit FRIENDS of Caroline Hospice today in the Carolina Ballroom. The Fashion Show is an annual sell-out event showcasing the latest fashions from Beaufort’s local shops and boutiques. Now in its 13th year, the lunchtime fundraiser featured a live auction, silent auction and entertainment by DJ Jesse from Gavigan Entertainment. This year’s theme was “The Secret Garden”, reflecting on home is where the heart is, and featured guest speaker Sarah Sanford Rauch.

The money raised by this event will benefit FRIENDS of Caroline Hospice which has cared for generations of Beaufort County residents and is a pioneer in developing end-of-life care programming and services. The Mission of FRIENDS remains as it was in the beginning: to ease pain, anxiety, and other symptoms surrounding a terminal illness.
