Welcome, college athletes!

Dataw Island is pleased to welcome the 2019 adidas Intercollegiate Golf Tournament competitors, coaches, and families. The athletes will begin to arrive tomorrow for practice rounds, with competition taking place on Monday and Tuesday. Men tee off at 8:30 am Monday on the Cotton Dike course for 36 holes of golf, and on Tuesday they tee of at 9:00 on Cotton Dike for their final 18. The women will compete on Morgan River, with tee times starting at 9:00 am on Monday and 10:00 am on Tuesday.

At the end of competition, the "adidas Awards Ceremony" will take place at the scoreboard adjacent to the Golf Shop when play culminates around 2:30 pm on Monday. 

Thank you to our Members who have been incredibly generous in opening your doors to these players, and to those will be volunteering to assist throughout their stay! The students greatly appreciate the shuttle service on the long stretches; walking 36 or 54 holes is tiring in itself, and the shuttles also help maintain pace of play. 

Members are all invited to come watch these talented young athletes!
