A win this year would spell redemption for the two-time Carolinas Senior Four-Ball Champs. • Paul Simson of Raleigh, N.C. and Don Detweiler of Raleigh, N.C. come in hot off a win at the N.C. Super Senior Four-Ball Championship in March. Simson and Detweiler are three-time winners of this event (2008, 2010, 2012). • Kelly Stimart of Charlotte, N.C. and Johnny Elam of Charlotte, N.C. won their first CGA Senior Four-Ball Championship as a team last year at the 18th N.C. Senior Four-Ball Championship at Old Chatham Golf Club in Durham, N.C. The duo has plenty of firepower to take down this tougher field that includes the best senior four-ball teams in both North and South Carolina. • Four-time CGA champion Walter Todd, Sr. of Laurens, S.C. and two-time South Carolina Senior Champion Todd Hendley of Columbus, N.C. finished in eighth place in this event last year.
