Dataw Island is Beaufort, South Carolina’s premier golf and sports community.
With its calm and lush beauty, Dataw Island is certainly the place to be. Although our two golf courses and eight har-tru tennis courts attract many discerning players, membership options range from Dining Membership to full Sports and everything in between; the Dataw Island Club is a superb choice with options to suit every lifestyle. Built with flexibility in mind, Dataw’s membership packages allow you to choose each year between myriad options, so your membership adapts as your lifestyle changes.
For individuals purchasing property on Dataw Island, membership to the Club is mandatory. Those who wish to be members but do not own property on Dataw Island have several options, including Country Club, Encore Tennis, and Dining memberships. A Renter Membership is available to those renting a home or living aboard your boat on Dataw for more than thirty days, allowing renters to utilize Club facilities.

Dataw Island Club Dues:
Homeowners: $455/month ($5460/year)
OR Lot Owners: $1450 two times a year ($2900/year). (If you rent, reside, or own additional improved property in Beaufort County, Homeowner dues & fees apply.)
Optional: Multi-Generational Members may be added for $82/month each.
Dataw Island Owner’s Association: $1130.50/quarter ($3422/year plus $1100/year two-year special assessment(2024 and 2025))
Dining Minimum: The annual calendar year Dining Minimum (applies to improved property only) is $1380/year for a family or $830/year for a single member ("single" is defined as a one-person household) and is prorated upon closing through the end of the year.
Please Note: Membership and Sport Amenity Options include a member, spouse (or significant other living together on a full time basis), any dependent single children of a member under the age of 21, and any disabled child of a member regardless of age. Immediate family members 21 and older residing in your home on a full-time basis may opt into a multi-generational membership and sports packages.

Provides full access to the Club’s Fine & Casual Dining facilities, including attendance at Special Dining Events and Bridge Functions.

We are pleased to offer long-term renter memberships for those who rent on Dataw Island for 30 days or more. Please note that this membership is on a month-to-month basis and allows for amenity usage based on amenity selections chosen.
